Not sure how this would work but I hate Paypal because once you take a single Credit Card Transaction, ALL your transactions get charged fees. I have no problem using Paypal when people pay through their bank account, but I reject credit card payments for that reasons and stipulate in my auctionsthat I only accept bank account funded paypal.

It's be great if Auctiva could accept credit card payments on our behalf somehow especially if you did it for free. Smile

Does the Auctiva Checkout have any way of accepting CC payments not through paypal so we can not get charged fees?

If you have our Auctiva Checkout service enabled, your customers will automatically be redirected to our website when they purchase your item from eBay and click on the Pay button. From our website, the customer can pay you via credit card or any other payment method you choose. You can see screenshots of the process from the Checkout Settings page.
Authorize.net is WAAAAAY more expensive unless you do a ton of selling which I don't. This is what I got from them when I inquired.

One-Time Setup Fee: $299

Option 1
Monthly Gateway Access Fee: $20
Transaction fee: $0.10*

Option 2
Monthly Gateway Access Fee: $50
Transaction fee: 2000 free monthly**

*$0.10 per transaction beginning at transaction 1

**$0.10 per transaction beginning at transaction 2001

I hate to break it to you but that's against eBays rules now I'm pretty sure. If you take PayPal you need to accept all forms of PayPal payments. When they spot it they'll probably just end your listings early and refund your fees, so it's up to you whether the savings are worth it until they do.

Yeah I know that. But with the millions of auctions setup every day, what are the chances they stumble upon mine... Pretty good odds they never do.

I actually just have 2 paypal accounts setup and have the user send the payment to one for Bank Account or Paypal balance and the other one to Credit Cards.

I also state that any auctions paid by Credit Card will have a shipping delay to try to get people to not pay that way.

I'm just waiting for Google to launch it's payment system so we can all tell Paypal to F off.

Does Auctiva plan to offer any solution in regards to accepting CCs?

Whats the down-low on Google's payment system?

As has already been said in this thread, the only way to accept credit cards through Auctiva Checkout is either have your own merchant account with Authorize.net as a gateway. You can also accept Paypal thru auctiva checkout. I don't see what the confusion is?
