You shouldn't have to re-register.
If you click on your STORE you will see a link called 'STORE DOMAIN Beta'. Click that.
Under 'Your Domains', you will see your default domain, which should be something like, "store.auctiva.com/MYSTORE", Status: Activated etc etc...
Since you already have a domain name purchased for your store, you can click on 'ADD A NEW DOMAIN', and enter your domain information and set it as default. Once you do, your new domain should be listed with the auctiva default and should have a (*) under activated. *=Default Domain Name.
