Hi Dan,
Since you said Java won't pop up for you, I assume you are using Firefox...Internet Explorer uses 'Active X' in the place of Java. So I'm going to respond talking about Firefox....
First, if you haven't already done so, I would try clearing my browser cache and temp internet files. You can do that as follows:
Firefox 2.0+:
In order to clear your cache in your Firefox web browser, select "Clear Private Data" from the "Tools" menu. Check the boxes next to "cache" and "cookies", and then click the "Clear Private Data Now" button.
Once this process has been completed, close and re-open your Firefox web browser. Take care that only one browser window is open when you do this your cache may not empty properly.
Firefox 3.5 +
In order to clear your cache in your Firefox web browser, please select "Clear Recent History" from the "Tools" menu. Then make sure “cache” and “cookies” are checked in the “Details” section and click the “Clear Now” button. Once this process has been completed, close and re-open your Firefox web browser for the changes to take effect. Also, please ensure that only one browser window is open when you are doing this or your cache may not empty properly.
If the above doesn't help, then see below:
Firefox requires the installation of a Java Runtime Environment.
When using Firefox, if you do not see the Auctiva Uploader interface when you click the "Upload" button, it is most likely that Firefox itself is blocking the installation of the required Java component, which should be installed automatically.
If this is indeed being blocked by Firefox, you should be able to re-download the Java component from the following page: (follow any directions there that are specific to the PC operating system you are using.)
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jspOnce you have downloaded JRE, you should be able to upload the images using Firefox browser.
Hope this helps.
