Hey Gang,
The same thing is happening again as last night at this time. I had a posting scheduled for 5pm, and on the scheduled listings it had "processing"...then it went to "--". It's happening all over again just like
'Ground Hog Day'. I bet, After some more time it will state "not posted".

Here's what I posted on the message board last night;

Posted January 08, 2009 06:38 PM
On my scheduled listing page, below the header status...Each of the seven items I had up, the green "processing" above the posting now has "--". It slowly creep up, 1 by 1, and the processing went to "--". I have no failures in my "Events" showing up and I'm not able to cancel...When I try to cancel. An error message comes up.

It's not fixed yet!

I hope the Auctiva team is ready do what was stated in their most recent reply when asked how long they will try to rectify the issues as stated as follows;

Posted January 09, 2009 04:28 PM

Hello Mike,

No, we will continue to work to fully resolve this issue for as long as it takes, even if it is into the later part of the evening. Our engineers are prepared to see it through for as long as it takes. We are optimistic though that we will have this issue fully resolved before the end of business day, which is 6pm PST for us!

Sincerely,
Auctiva Support

I just looked at my Email and this was sent to me at 5:37 pm PST:

Hello Mike,

Unfortunately I received an update and it looks like we might be working to resolve these database issues until later tonight. I have been assured though that they will be resolved tonight, most likely by 9pm PST.

Thank you for your continued patience and if there is anything further that I can assist you with, please let me know.

Sincerely,
Auctiva Support

If anybody relys on Auctiva and Authnet exclusivly for payment with credit card and cannot get paid, you can sign up for
"Auction Checkout" and then send invoices and get paid directly with credit card. Also you can sign up for Google Checkout and get paid directly. If on the other hand you accept paypal you can instruct your buyers to login to paypal, click on send money , and then have them send the money directly to your email address bypassing auctiva.

These solutions should allow you to get paid until auctiva gets this fixed

hope this helps

Hey Guys,
On another message board, I followed the advice of "ARROWHEAD DEALER". The advice worked just like described. You apparently can list in real time but still not able to schedule in the future. Below is the text from them verbatim...

Hey all. It appears the bug with Auctiva is in the scheduled listings section of the software. I was able to post me scheduled listings this morning by doing the following:
1) go to your saved listings
2) click on the create similar listing tab on the right
3)than post - don't schedule it's still not working!

My listings went live on ebay right away and all the template - scrolling gallery - and images are present!!

At least there's a light at the end of the tunnel after all!

Thanks you Arrowhead Dealer!
Sincerely,

Susan27,
This advice is from Chopstix on another message board...It really works!

If you want to cancel your "stuck" scheduled postings here is how:

1. Go to the saved listings page and open the listing that you scheduled (it will have an asterisk next to it).

2. Go to the bottom of the page and select "Save as new". You will end up with two copies of the scheduled listing saved.

3. Go back to the saved listings page and delete the listing that was scheduled (the one with the asterisk next to it).

4. Now go to the scheduled listings page and delete the scheduled listing. You will get an error message but the listing will be removed from the queue.

This will help to clear out the queue and you should not have to worry about those "stuck" listings posting.

This might be better than "re-posting" scheduled listings that are still stuck in the queue because you wont have to worry about those listings posting twice. Once they are removed from the queue you should just post manually.

Clearing out the scheduled listings queue may also help tech support to refresh their database more quickly and resolve the problem.

Good Luck!

I am too a person who has been trying to list for 24 hours now and all I keep getting are form letters telling me it will be working within 3 hours, and the last was an hour which was in reality was 4 hours ago.
I have astericks, have requested help from support as to how to remove them and get these listing out of that "POSTING" state, yet I get form letters that DO NOT APPLY. (Just like ebay)
Rude. Unprofessional.
Here's an idea. Maybe the site should just be shut off and fix it already. Including the missing images problems and all the check out problems. JUST FIX IT ALREADY. Any other professional company would have these issues repaired by now (within a 24 hour time frame-we've been waiting 3 days now.) Not to metion the cost your FREE service is actually costing many people in LOST sales.
But I see fellow listers in the same boat are more helpful than technical people. Or so they call themselves.
Anyone know of other listing sites? But not Turbo Lister or greed-bay.
Thanks for letting me rant.
