This might be a dumb question, but I thought that when I listed an item with the auto-relist set, that when my listing closed on eBay, that it would "automatically" relist.

Apparently not.

My listing closed at 10:42 pm last night and didn't relist until 1:19 am this morning. Who in their right mind would want their item listed at 1:19 in the morning ?????

I used the auto-relist function in the misguided belief that it would AUTOMATICALLY RELIST.

If I'd wanted my item listed at 1:19 am in the morning, I would have scheduled it for that time. I wanted it relisted at 10:42 pm !

Could someone tell me please why there is an almost 3 hour delay ???

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong here. Maybe there's a trick to it that I don't know about. Please tell me. I apologise for the sarcasm, but I'm not impressed.

Hi,

If you uncheck the box in the Auto-Relist Profile for "Auto-Relist immediately...", you'll see a Schedule Time Window section at the very bottom with a way to indicate "No" relist outside the window (default is Yes). If for some reason there is a delay or problem at either eBay or Auctiva, I'm understanding that will prevent the issue with 1:19 am relist occuring.

When you have two separate systems with the questionable reliability of Internet service and any localized problem between them including service outage, maintenance, bugs due to changes AT BOTH ENDS, 100% guarantee isn't possible.

Hopefully, my suggestion will help.
