I have well over 125-150 auction relisting everyday rather they sell or dont. Most times everything is fine. However off and on for the last few months the dont relist instantly and then 5 or 6 hours later they are relist at exactly the same time. My auctions are set to be spread out not all at one time. This costs me a lot of money and it is getting really rediculous. Is anyone else having this issue? Does anyone have a solution? I am getting close to going back to blacktorn but figure I would try to find out what the problem is first. Thanks for any light you can shed on the subject.

Hi Gary,

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you experienced. Unfortunately, the behavior you have described here is not completely unavoidable when using our auto relisting system due to the way that our system recognizes that listings have come to a close.

Our system typically recognizes when listings close based on notifications we subscribe to from eBay and, when those are received and processed in a timely fashion, your items should relist automatically almost immediately after they end provided that is how you have your auto relist profile set up.

However, there are times when we do not receive and/or process these notifications in a timely fashion and, when that happens, our system may recognize your closed listings have ended based on a service we have running called a reconciler that updates each account every few hours.

In this case, it sounds like we were unable to recognize the items in question closed based on the notifications so they ended up getting imported into our system by the reconciler service. Since they were all imported by the reconcile service at the same time and were set to relist immediately upon closing, they were all relisted at that point.

That being said, there is a setting you can enable within your auto relist profiles that will prevent our system from auto relisting your items if it cannot be done within a certain amount of time (which you can configure) from when the auctions close. This setting is called “Schedule Time Window” and is located at the bottom of the auto relist profile set up page.

I hope this helps.

-Mike
