I've been wanting this for quite awhile but have not found it yet. I was wondering if Auctiva offered anything like this. I just signed up for my free trial and am trying to figure Auctiva out and determine if I want to keep the service past my 30 day trial.

Here's what I want to be able to do......Lets say I list something for $10.00 at a fixed price for 30 days (whether I choose a 30 day listing or good til cancelled).

After 30 days, if it doesn't sell, I want the item to auto relist and also the price to decrease by however much I have set the parameters to do so (let's say 50 cents). So every 30 days that it doesn't sell, it auto-relists for 50 cents less.

I would also want to be able to set a floor price. Let's say, I'm not willing to sell the item for any less than $6.00. So if it gets down to $6.00, it will still auto-relist, but will never auto-relist for less than $6.00

Does this make sense? And if so, does Auctiva offer this, or anything close to this?

Hi JD Smith,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. The Auto Relist feature that is available on our site actually should be able to accomplish everything you described here, so I would certainly recommend checking it out to make sure it meets any other needs you may have as well.

In order to review all the conditions that our Auto Relist feature can handle, just mouse over the "Profiles" tab within your account and select the "Create New" option under Auto Relisting and take a look at all the options in the 3 sections available on that page.

In order to utilize an Auto Relist Profile to accommodate the circumstances you described here, you would need to list your items with the 30 day duration and choose the following conditions within your Auto Relist profile:

1) I Want to Auto-Relist if: None of the items have sold
2) When I Auto-Relist: Lower The Start Price by 50 cents (Fixed Amount)
3) Recurrence: When to Start And Stop Auto-Relisting: Auto-Relist until the start price has gone below $6.50

The reason you would need to use the 30 day duration is because our system is unable to make changes to Good til Cancelled listings when they are automatically relisted by eBay at the end of each 30 days period during which they did not sell. When you use the 30 day duration, our system will initiate the relist attempt when appropriate and we will be able to make the desired changes.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab within your account and selecting the "File Support Case" option.

-Mike
