Ok so it normally takes several hours for eBay to index auctions when posted through Auctiva. I posted an auction less than 1 hour ago and it is already indexxed and drawing bids. I was going to do a slight revision and saw it had a bid so could not..
The only thing I can think of is I did this as a one day auction it may index faster? Anyone else post 1 day auctions that is familiar with this?

Hiya Taz,
I think ya just never know with Ebay! Ever since I've been a member, my listings would show up within minutes...then last year suddenly they were taking 6-12 hours. Then during the spring they gave me powerseller status & listings showed up immediately again ( I figured it was because I was a PS). Then, I lost my status because my sales always drop in the fall so I thought oh great, back to waiting 12 hours but NO..they still show up almost right away. Go figure Confused I always sell basically the same thing, and always thru Auctiva, so there's no rhyme or reason to this indexing that I can see.
Glad you have bids already Smile That's the important thing.
I was very pleasantly surprised to list 2 items this morning and see them indexed right away! Both were 7 day sales, so it's not the 1 day thing. I was anticipating the normal 6-12 hour wait that I usually encounter (eBay says for fraud, but I don't know how much fraud there is on say vintage tablecloths). They must have finally realized that they are losing money when they let our Auctiva auctions languish for hours on end. About time they woke up.
