BattleBids auto appended in our listings?

Thanks so much Donna for bringing that to our attention! I do not want that put into my listings as well and have gone in to turn it off.

It'll just be a flash thing at the end of the listing. It isn't bad or anything.

It looks corny and for children--even though ebay is 18+.

But maybe it'll convince people to bid and not just snipe.

They only thing though is it needs to have something like what ebay has "You are agreeing to a contract -- You will enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item from the seller. You are responsible for reading the full item listing, including the seller's instructions and accepted payment methods."

Also without the statement of legally binding contract what leg does the seller have to stand on?

I know I have had to use the legally binding contact issue many times in order to receive payment.

That's only part of the reason I don't want it in my listings.

My buyers are collectors. They're not looking to play games; they either want the item or they don't.

There are many reasons I don't want it in any of my listings.

Looking corny is just one reason I don't want it - I sell stuff to adults (not adult-stuff, just stuff that only adults would be interested in).
It's important to me and to my buyers that my listings look professional and this new "game" certainly detracts from that concept.

Slowing down the page loading time is the main reason I don't want it, and is the same reason that I do not use the scrolling gallery thing.

Another reason: playing some stupid game has GOT to take away from the time a buyer has available to look for items to buy. That hurts all of us except Auctiva.
