I am selling my kids clothing which cosnsits of many like-new shoes.
What the best way to photgragh especially Black leather shoes without the photos looking too dark ?

Hi,
The best way is to use natural outdoor diffused light, (not in direct sunlight). Or you can also use a light tent for being able to take pics indoors at all times, which is what I do. Light tents are not too expensive and if you are selling enough to make it worthwhile, I would get one, the lighting too of course. They sell em on eBay $50-$150.

If I need diffused lighting I use an empty opaque milk jug.
