Bidder 'Thank You' emails and sellathon...

Hi,

I'm new and had had a couple questions:

About the automatic Bidder 'Thank You' emails...
1. If your ebay auctions are set to 'private' do the automatic bidder thank you emails still go out?

2. When do they go out? Immediately after the auction?

3. How do I stop Sellathon from automatically adding their tracking code to my auctions when I list them. I want to do that manually. I looked through Auctiva and Sellathon admin panels, but couldn't find that setting.

You can control the Thank You Bidder emails using the on/off setting under Auto Email Management on your Account Preferences. That's the only setting we look at.

Re your other question...on the same page (Account Preferences) under 'Listing Enhancements' caption is setting named 'Append Sellathon Counters to my listings'. Turning that to 'off' will stop the Sellathon tracking code from being added to your listings.

Note that you can use the counter but make it invisible if you wanted to...via the Sellathon Counter type...its the next setting down on the page.
