Guys, I have been using ebay blackthorne for many years. Our ebay person is hesitant to switch over since blackthorne is a database style listing template. Unfortunatley, I am the boss and I want the to switch over to Auctiva sine it will present our company better. Couple questions.

1)Is there a way to take all of our auctions currently up (about 1000) and transfer the current template to the auctiva template or profile, so each one will have the unique look?

2) I thought the system would import all of my items, but only did 100. I just imported all the closed ones and will check tomorrow to see if they came through. Is this correct or is ther a limit to how many I can have?

Thank you for your help.

Hi David,

Welcome to Auctiva!

While it is possible to add Auctiva's templates to listings that are already active on eBay, it does entail a fairly cumbersome process that requires re-creating each listing using Auctiva's listing design tools. If you would like to give this a shot, you can do so by revising each listing via the following process:

1) Recreate the listing in Auctiva and click "Save". Since you will only be revising the item description, it is only necessary to fill out the “Item Details” section of the lister page.
2) Once you have finished, click the "Save" button.
3) Return to your Saved Listings page and click the <HTML> icon next to the listing.
4) Highlight and copy the HTML that appears in the pop-up window.
5) Scroll down about 1/3 the page to the “Description” section and click the "HTML" tab on the editor.
6) Delete the html that is already there, paste the copied html in its place, and save your changes.

Also, all of your listings that are currently active should be imported to your Active Listings page within Auctiva within about 12 hours of when you signed up. Similarly, all of your listings that have ended within the last 3 months should be imported to the Closed Listings section of your Auctiva account.

If you encounter any trouble with respect to the importing of your closed or active listings, please feel free to contact our customer support team using the web form on the following page: http://www.auctiva.com/help/requesthelp.aspx
