Bug: Location selection not what I saved when call up listing or profile for edit

I always select "I will enter the location" for my listings and shipping profiles. However, whenever I go back and edit either a listing or a profile, my choice has changed to "Identify city and state by zip code (entered above)"

I can't tell if it is being saved incorrectly or loaded for edit incorrectly but I suspect it is being saved incorrectly because I saw another forum message from someone who had a similar problem posting to ebay.

My posting to ebay was correct but then again I posted from the Create an eBay Listing screen using the "Post (save)" button rather than from the "Saved Listings" screen using the "Post Now" button.

Anyone else have this problem?

hi,
I ran a search and have seen this question raised twice but not answered. I am having the same problem with location in the shipping profile.

I am trying to post a location other than the default zipcode info. I don't want my city and state. I want it to read gold country, california.

i migrated from sparedollar and am trying to learn again....change is haaardddd :::whine:::

Hi all,

Strange, I just tested this out in my account and when the profile loaded, the "I will enter location" selection was maintained.

Try clearing your cache via the following process and see if your problem is resolved:

In Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu, click the Internet Options menu item, then click the "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" buttons.

In Firefox, go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Clear All.

Remember to close all browser windows but one while clearing your cache.

ah ha!
you have to leave the zipcode field alone! Don't type your zipcode at all. Just click the bubble for location you provide and type in your location name.
