Bulk Description editing

Hi, I am reviewing Auctiva to see if it can help with editing descriptions.

We need to basically purge all descriptions, and replace by inserting the item title at the top followed by a standard paragraph. We have 450 listings.

Can this be done?

Hi Accolent,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. The "Find and Replace" tool that is available on the Auctiva Active Listings page does allow sellers to update the descriptions in active listings in bulk by *finding* specific text and *replacing* it with new text.

However, I'm afraid this tool would not work for the specific revisions you are looking to make since, as I understand it, the descriptions of your existing active listings are not all exactly the same and the replacement descriptions you are looking to add are also not all exactly the same.

I regret that I cannot offer you better news with respect to this matter, but I hope this information helps you decide how to move forward with these revisions.
