I was wondering if Auctiva had access through the eBay API to set the Buyer requirement "Paypal Account Required" when creating a listing. I know for Buy It Now listings you can require immediate payment through Paypal, but I would like to require my buyers to have a Paypal account to bid on my auctions, since this is the only form a payment I accept. Let me know if this is possible or will be possible in the future. I'm currently revising my listings after they post to set this option, but don't always get it done before a bid has been placed.

Thanks
Ashley

Hey Mike,

Yeah, I'm aware of this setting as I use it as well as the "Block buyers who have feedback score of ? or lower" and "Block Buyers who have received 2 Unpaid Item strikes in the last 30 days". While the last two preferences are set when a listing is posted through Auctiva, the "Block buyers who don't have a Paypal account." option gets reset to false for some reason. I just checked these preferences in eBay after receiving your email and all three are enabled. Therefore I thought there was something that Auctiva could do, either to activate this option when posting the listing or determine why it is being reset when a listing is posted from Auctiva. Thanks.

Ashley I agree, I have this same problem as I only accept Paypal as a payment option so each time I list through Auctiva, because they don't have this option available, I have to go in and revise each auction to check the box so that the bidder has to have a Paypal account to bid and it just would be so easy if Auctiva could just add this little option to their set-up.
