I see this isn't a new subject, but it just happened to me AGAIN TODAY, Friday, January 30th. What the hell is going on? How can it be fixed? Can we bypass the auctiva checkout? I mean I know we can do that, I just disabled it, but all my current listings will still have this issue?

I am a very frustrated buyer. Auctiva checkout always says Processing, but never goes anywhere, it will process forever and nothing happens. I have to contact the seller to pay another way, and sometimes this extra layer of payment causes a lot of confusion and trouble. It has cost me money. I have read these forums, and I always see the replies that say it is a browser or firewall or anti-virus issue. Well, how about telling me how to fix it, if it is in MY system settings?
My firewall and browser and anti-virus work perfectly, and my computer is new and up to date. If there is an issue with communication I always get a notification from my software and I get to select whether to allow communication or not. Nothing happens with Auctiva, the bars just move forever. If I could tell which sellers use Auctiva checkout, I would not bid with those sellers..
I don't really want to miss out on items I want, so please help me.
Is there a fix for this problem? I have buyers that try to pay with Auctiva checkout and get very frustrated because it doesn't work. I have to tell them to go directly to PayPal to pay. I even lost one sale because a buyer did not want to use a 3rd party checkout, even though I told them it is a safe website. He thought auctiva would steal his identity..... Is there a fix or do I have to turn off the checkout function and go back to ebay checkout? Please help!
As a PowerSeller I am privy to eBay toll free customer support. This is what the rep told me about buyers not being able to pay throught the Auctiva Checkout system. They MUST select a shipping service that you have offered. If they don't it just sits there, but does not return an error message saying something like, "A shipping method must be selected".

Auctiva needs to correct this bug.
Thanks for the advice about paying through PayPal. That's what I have to do because Auctiva is broken, at least for me. I have had sellers open unpaid item cases and tarnish my reputation after I have already paid through PayPal. I have been double charged three times. I'm sure you know how time consuming and frustrating this can be.

I must also say, that I have a plug-in or download and anything else it takes to use the Web, and the ONLY thing on the WWW that does not work is Auctiva checkout.

Why can't I just use Auctiva checkout as easy as I use Ebay?

Please, tell me how to setup my system and firewall and all the rest, or else find a way to let me AVOID sellers that use Auctiva checkout.
