Please forgive a newbie if I don't know the correct terms for my problem, but I'll try to describe it carefully.

I'm creating a listing. If I use the normal listing screen, the keyboard shortcuts cause the screen to jump all over (and make me crazy).

I tried using the full size screen to write the listing and it works fine with no jumping. However, after I click Save and return to the regular listing screen, my browser freezes up.

Thanks for your help!

Capt., it's funny you mentioned that it wasn't just Auctiva, because right after I read that, I noticed it when responding to an e-mail sent by Auctiva support. hmmmm

I've sent them a very specific, letter by letter explanation of the problem, so we'll see what happens.

They did recommend downloading the Firefox browser. I tried that, and now I can write listings in Firefox with no problems (including moving back and forth from the full size Item Description box).

However, Firefox does not seem to have all the bells and whistles as SBC Yahoo Browser, so I'm going to pursue a fix for the problem - not just a work-around.

In the meantime, you may want to download the browser at www.firefox.com. If you prefer your current browser, you can have both open at the same time.

Well, just to confuse things a little further...I think mine does it when it's not even in a browser. Seems to me it was doing it in MS Word last week.

*sigh!*

Hi,

I am not sure it will work but if you like to stick on using SBC Yahoo Browser please try the following steps, may help you to use our site more effectively:

1. Uninstall your browser plugins and disable your internet security products.
2. Clean up your registry. I recommend using I Easy Cleaner, which can be found at
http://www.amplusnet.com/products/ieasycleaner/overview.htm

Do another thing, before try sign in your Auctiva account first clear your cache and delete the cookies, temporary internet files & also stop certain security programs running in background.

But, I would like to suggest you to use our site with Fire fox or Internet Explorer may give you better view and comfort to work on.

For any further assistance, feel free to revert back.

Sunny here: I'm not sure if I'm going to try this, because my security system was set up by a pro, and I really don't want to mess with it. I guess the Firefox browser will work fine.
