Well, the ins and outs of auctiva I'm still trying to figure out myself, but regarding the pictures, I use a p.o.s. camera actually, its a 3 meg canon and it never, ever, ever takes crisp sharp pics, I hate it, but for now its all I have, lol.

One very important trick to good ebay pics though is a solid dark background (such as a sheet of black foam core) and indirect light on a sunny day. Too much direct light and you will be washed out, and too little light (such as from an interior room) will be too dark. I put my foam core in front of a window on the south side of my house, and get ok results in the early morning and late afternoon. It just takes trial an error. It took much experimentation before I discovered this location.
Hi mrssweet one way is to look at the HTML of your live listing and substitute the URL (address) of the current image for the new one. This is possible until you have bids or less than 12 hours to run.

You can get the URL of the new one once uploaded to Auctiva from your saved listings folder.

I did a lot of experimentation to get decent results with my little automatic camera but that is the joy of digital photography none of the expensive and long turn arounds you get with roll film.

Also you can edit the pictures to correct moderate exposure errors with quite cheap photo software. Smile

Hi rosalie a 3 meg camera is more than adequate resolution for even a supersize image and that is all I use. Admittedly a camera with manual exposure and shutter speed would be preferable but a bit of trail and error works wonders.

What size of items are you taking pictures of because you may not be getting crisp pictures because you are too close.

Alternatively or as well as maybe the light is so low that the camera selects a very low speed and what you get is a blurr through camera shake. Frown
