Hello,

I am trying to use the multi-variations tool but don't see a way to match what I need. I make bow ties in two different styles so I would like to make the listing where they could choose one of the styles. But when I use the multi-variations tool, it doubles the quantity available.

Is there a way to do this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Monica,

Yes there is a way to do this. I am not sure I fully understand what you mean how it doubles the quantity available, because you enter the quantities of each style manually, and therefore it shouldn't double those. I just ran a test under the Men's accessories>Ties category and was able to set the quantites and so far they're all staying where I set them for each style. Maybe if you could reply back and let me know where it's doubling the quantities I could try and find the culprit. Thanks!
Thank you for your reply. The problem is that I have one item that I offer in two styles. Example: I have enough red fabric to make 5 bow ties. The customer can choose either the 3 inch bow size or the 2 1/2 inch bow size. But when I put in the quantity of 5 for each style it says there are 10 bow ties available. That is why I say it doubles it.

If I use it as it is now, I could get more orders than I have the fabric for. I already have to watch the quantities now because I sell the bow ties on three different sites.

I hope I have explained it where you can understand the problem.

Thanks again for any help,
Monica
