Can Someone Help With This

Hi, I’m trying to make this template work & I can’t figure it out. I copied & pasted my html into the template maker. When I tried to save it, I got an error message “about one & only one description or description & images”. I don’t know how to insert the “[Description]” box. Right now it’s inserted below my item description box. It will save like this in Auctiva, but when previewed there is a lot more information between the [Description] parentheses. On the practice board it just shows [Description]”. Can someone fix this for me? Here’s the link: [URL=http://www.practiceboard.com/?10143478][/URL]

Hi,

Normally, you place a "description" as text information on the one-page lister, and that [DECRIPTION] tag is the place-holder for that text to be inserted in the template.

It looks to me like you are adding the actual description of that item to the template itself.

Everything between the [DESCRIPTION] and [IMGS_PAIRED] could be moved to the one-page lister and inserted to fix the problem. That way, you could reuse the template for other items. That's how the tag system works. It gives you a method to create a generic template and specialize it at listing creation (per unique item).
