Everytime I click on the Image Uploader it kicks me out. I have the pop up blocker set to accept Auctiva and have downloaded the latest version of Java. And still it kicks me out. I cleaned up my computer and now I cannot get into the Image uploader anymore and now have to use the HTML version. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi djsun & TxSTar,

Thanks for posting about your difficulties here. There are not currently any technical problems on our side of things that should prevent either of you from being able to download the component necessary to use the Auctiva Uploader, but I don't know that the problem is the same for both of you.

The most common reason that users encounter difficulties when they try to use the Auctiva Uploader for the first time is because their browser security settings are blocking the installation of the Active X (Internet Explorer) or Java (Firefox) components that should be automatically installed when you go to the Auctiva Uploader page.

If the installation of the required uploaded component is indeed being blocked by your browser security settings, you should see a yellow or grey bar along the top of your browser window indicating that the installation is being blocked and you should be able to resolve the problem by right clicking that information bar and accepting the installation.

Djsun - Since you mentioned you have already installed the Java component, I think it would be a good idea to check your browser's Plug in settings to make sure your Java is not disabled. If you select Add-ons from the Tools menu in Firefox and click the Plugins tab, you should be able to find one on the list called Java Platform. If you find that it is disabled, there is a very good chance re-enabling it will resolve the problem with the uploader for you.

If either of you need further assistance with the uploading problems you are experiencing, I recommend following up on your existing support case of filing a new one. This is really something that we would need to troubleshoot with each user individually.

-Mike
