can't open the auctiva.com. can't use any function of the site...

I am having no problems getting to the www.auctiva.com website. If you are unable to get to the website, it is possible you have an Internet problem.

The Forum is actually hosted at a separate location. That is possibly why you can get to the Forum and not the main website.

If you are using Windows and can bring up a Command prompt screen, try entering the following command:

tracert www.auctiva.com

That should produce a result similar to this, showing all hops between you in China and the Auctiva server are working.

maybe the internet from china to US is too slow.. i think..

and now i can open the auctva.com ,but it's very hard to search item and list it ...it's very slow...

i have the same problem in opening ebay.com before.now i can't open ebay.com quickly ,but the auctiva.com is very slow.. it's the first time...

Well, that is a very odd result for tracert. It would appear that none of the routers between China and Auctiva's server responded, or they tried and the response was blocked. I would have expected a very long list, similar to mine.

Try this command and see if you get lost packets.

ping -t www.auctiva.com

That will start a continueous loop of pings showing the time in milliseconds to respond.

this morning in about 16pm-17pm pacific time ,i can open the site very slowly and scheduled my listing in about 1 hour. normally it only needs about 10 minutes .

i think it's the china internet server and the auctiva server may have problem in connecting each other...
