Can't post or save listing.

"An error has occurred during the processing of your request. Please try again or file a support case if this problem continues."

Wrote a listing and then tried to post it and got the above error after a pause of a minute or so. When I hit the back button, the description and title were still there, but the photos, item specifics, and template were gone. I hit "save", waited another minute, and got the same error. Tried again, same thing happened. Is it just me or is something going on??

me too, I sent a report of to support desk, looks like it is an auctiva problem not our pcs. Maybe if more people write to support they can look into it.

yes i tried same and got same error. when i go back and try to select pics again and click done error shows up on bottom bar and have to close images window.

Happened to me too. It's unfortunate because I love what Auctiva has to offer but I waste more time posting than I did before Auctiva. My suggestion is to lay off enhancements for a while, work on the bug fixes, do a heavy testing on those, then a super heavy regression testing then give us a release that works. I don't know what their coding and testing cycles are but perhaps they need to rethink their procedures for version deployments.

glad to see it's not just me, but I'm bummed because I"ve got lots of listing to do and it looks like I'm going to have to do it at SD (from where I'm trying to make a complete transition!!)

I dropped them a message 8 minutes ago.

Why jump ship immediately back to SD? This could be temporary and really..if you're leaving isn't it better to make a clean break?

I've got almost everything out of SD and have no plans on going back before my time is up.

I'm busy here working on my website and as soon as I hear something..I'll post.

I haven't had any problems up until this AM. Well, I take that back..it only lasted about 10 minutes before. It was on a Tuesday and that's the day the day upgrades to the system.

Is anybody else timing out on eBay?

I just tried to relist manually via eBay and keep getting booted to the time out screen.

GRRRRRRRRRR!

Think this could be an explanation?

I have fast access, I'm using FF and can't see any reason I should be timing out on eBay.

10 times I got the same message.

Also, Does anyone remember what day Auctiva was adding the new servers? Was it today?

I am haing the same problem too. I have been trying for the past hour to save my first listing to Auctiva and get the same error message as everyone else. This really sucks, since I am trying Auctiva for the first time and would like to know how my listing is going to work in Ebay.

I"m not "jumping ship" back to SD....I'm trying to gradually shift everything from over there to here, so I was hoping not to launch any more listings over there, but it looks like I'm going to have to, for today anyway. Hey I know stuff happens, and it happens plenty at SD...it's just that the timing is bad.

Here's an option:

Create your auctions and comnplete all the steps you can without saving. Then copy the html to a notepad file and save it in a designated directory. Then when the problem is fixed all you have to do is copy the html back into the template and add the title, etc and it's ready to go. Just a suggestion for those who lack patience like myself.....
