Hi, thanks Smile I've actually "kind of" figured out the template enough to add it. Now I'm having trouble adding things like the auction details and having them save. It keeps on going to an error page like 404 only not, with some html code in the mix. Is there a technical issue with that? I think I'm doing it right but each time I choose save it bumps me to that 404 page.

Ideally, I'd like to know if I can add this template on top of my already existing listing, since I want to have them all live before this evening and I have about 30+ to go. Is this possible? That way I could futz with the specifics later.

I just checked and the error message only happens when I try to save and exit, on the last step of the item detail specifics page in profiles.

Hi kryptoknight,

To add the template to your listings after they have already been posted, please revise each listing for which you would like to accomplish this via the following process:

1) Locate your listing in your Saved Listings folder, make any necessary changes(select template), and save.
2) Check the box next to your updated listing in your Saved Listings folder and click the “Get html” button.
3) Select All and copy the html in the popup window.
4) Locate the item on eBay and click the "Revise Item" button.
5) Click "Edit Description" then click the "Enter your own html" tab above the description editor.
6) Delete the html that is already there and then paste the copied html in its place and save you changes.

The "404 Error" you are receiving sounds like a browser related issue. Please file a support request regarding this problem using the appropriate link on our help page:

Hi Mike, can you add the templates just like if you were adding pictures to your listings even if you just list through the main selling tool or something like turbo lister? I'm still not super familiar with auctiva and it will help a lot to be able to ease into it. I do plan on changing over fully to it eventually as I don't like turbo lister and the seller tool is pretty cumbersome. Thanks
Hi kryptoknight,

Well...you can add Auctiva templates to listings you created throgh Turbolister, however, its a fairly cumbersome process that involves basically recreating the listing in Auctiva. If you want to give it a try, you can accomplish this by revising each listing via the following steps:

1) Recreate the listing in Auctiva.
2) Once you have finished, click the "Save" button.
3) Return to your Saved Listings page, check the box next to the item, and click the "Get HTML" button.
4) Select All and copy the html in the popup window.
5) Go to the item that is active on eBay and click "Revise Item" then "Edit Description"
6) Click the "Enter Your Own HTML" tab above the description editor.
7) Delete the html that is already there and then paste the copied html in its place and save you changes.

I hope this information proves useful.

-Mike
