I got this e-mail from a buyer this morning. This is not the first time I've heard this complaint from a buyer about Auctiva checkout.

i just went through the process of paying it. i tried paying last night, but paypal, as it often is, was "stuck". i dont know if its a matter of too many people trying to use paypal at once, but often times it takes forever to get through. you never seem to know when you can get through and when you cant. the problem was, i had to go through all of your 5 or 6 "auctiva" pages just to get through to the paypal link, where i normally am as soon as i click the "pay now" button anyway. using dial up, that is quite time consuming and not real user friendly. i didnt want to go through all of that again. it took a couple of more times to be able to get through to paypal this morning, going through all of your auctiva things first, but i finally got it to go through.

Is there any way to just have the buyer click on "pay with paypal" and have it go right through without having to fill in their name, address, etc. and go through all of those Auctiva pages?

Hi!

I don't use Auctiva checkout for some of these reasons. That and you cannot combine purchases using Auctiva checkout. If want to disable it, go to "My Account" then click on "Settings" and then to "Checkout Settings". Un-checkmark the preference to use Auctiva's checkout.

For this sale, you may just want to send them an invoice through ebay so that they can pay via Paypal.
