Cannot align my text!

I am creating listings that have centered text first, then I want the next text to be aligned to the left. When I center the text, then hit 'enter', then click the 'left align' and type my text, it does not show up to the left in the listing. (While I am creating the listing, it aligns to the left, but when I preview or post it, it it ALL centered.) So, right now I have been listing them, then going into ebay & revising them in order to left align the text. How do I 'center' something, then 'left align' below it??

The way I've always done it is to highlight the part you want to center (for example) and then click on the center icon up where your font size, color, etc is located. Always works for me

Yep, tried that too. It works fine at the time, but not when it's actually listed.
