cannot find the counter

hi there i just started to use this site and it doesn't seem too complicated albeit a little slow,,,but my option to add a counter is not highlighted Sellathon account creation failed!

so i figured i would create a sellathon account and when i put in my user info in i get an error message that readsSellathon account creation failed!
USERNAME OUT OF VALID RANGE
does anyone know what i am doing wrong
