Wow.. I'm scheduling auctions and have always LOVED the 1 minute spread feature that you can schedule your items to post. I notice now though that auctions can only be scheduled in 5 minute spread increments. BOO! I love LOVE auctiva.. but I GREATLY prefer the 1 minute spread time.. ..wonder why this change was made?... oh well.. I'll adapt!Smile

Confused

I scheduled 5 auctions from Auctiva last evening with a 4 minute spread and just checked the scheduler when I saw your post (cause I like less than 5 at times too).

1 minute spread is still there????? In fact the "Post incrementally" feature drop-down list shows:

1 minute, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, 1 hour and 2 hour

I am thinking they may have dropped a few, as I believe I've used between 5 and 10 minute (like 7) for an interval in the past.

Danno.. I see what you are saying. ...I have always filled out the 1-page lister and then clicked on 'schedule' at the bottom of the page..which takes you to the page to schedule your auction. From there I could always schedule my auctions 1 minute apart. You are talking about the box over to the right I believe that allows you to bulk schedule your auctions incrementally.. I do see that.. but that is not the feature I am talking about. I don't bulk schedule my auctions. I guess I could.. I guess you just have to save a bunch of them first and then go back to bulk schedule them in 1 minute increments?? That seems like more work than I was currently doing. ....I have just been listing and scheduling as I go in 1 minute increments and that feature has changed and seems to no longer be available.

Of course.. I could still be missing something!
If you mean, use an exact time on the Scheduler, they've just made a change today, as it wasn't there last night. If you click on the Post Date, date/time, a drop-down box appears with Calendar. At the top is where they moved the TIME (HH:MM AM/PM). You can also just change the text entry (not use the drop-down), and that seems to work too.

I'm also seeing a interesting notation on my test for a listing.....

It says "No Auto-Relist Profile"! Auto-Relist?? Did something else good just happen, or have I been asleep? Razz

Note to Programminng: Add "Click on Date/Time for Pop-Up (ur Down) Calendar and Clock" next to feature box on the Campaign Scheduler. Smile

Yes!.. That's exactly what I mean. I saw where they moved the Time feature at the top of that box.. but the only options you are given there is to schedule in 5 minute increments..not 1min as it used to be. ..And you are correct..they did just change that today because I was working had scheduled 10 auctions each 1min apart and then the next thing I know.. the next auction I was working on only had the 5min option. .......One thing you said though.. I do not see where you can just change the text entry...I am only getting the option to use the drop down.

Thank you for all input/advice.. ..and I too saw that no auto relist message.. That popped up at the same time the other change was made.

YES....BUT you can manually change the text in the window to an EXACT time, e.g.. 11:41 AM

Tip: The calendar needs to be down (not showing), not up for it to work, so double-click to drop it and then enter the time.

TRY IT!

And, I see Auctiva Kevin just posted after me with that affirmation of how it works.
Foremostfashions,

The new date selector works a little different than the previous one. However, you can still change the time to 1 minute increments.

Click in the box that displays the posting date two times instead of one time. The second click should cause the pop-up date selector to not appear. You can now edit the date/time and put in a 1 minute value.

I'll also look into making this work a little more intuitively.

PERFECT! I got it!! THANK YOU so much.. That is exactly what I needed to be able to do but couldn't make it work. I was trying to change the text but it wouldn't let me. I hate to think of how long it would have taken me to figure that out....You are my hero of the daySmile

lol. THANKS SO MUCH!(seriously!)

.........now, guess I'll start obsessing over what that pesky auto-relist thing is doing there. Smile

Obsessing hell Razz .....I'm drooling! Now give me inventory and an EStore and.....and.....

Nice work Auctiva. I like the features in the Auto-Relist Profile and see More to Come. I also see the new code in the one-page for the feature.

Might consider adding the ability to filter on Profiles in the Saved Listing section. That might save time. Things are getting more complicated.

Also, I see there is some new API's for "tripping the Shark" at eBay's T&S. You might want to link that to STOOOOOOP a relist on an item, so that some new UGLY policy doesn't cause a member to get eaten (ur suspended).

Inventory will be released in mid May, and we'll have a store later this year. I don't want to give a date and jinx things because then you could just add like 3-6 months to that date.

We're hoping to have a demo version of the store at eBay Live so stop by our booth to check it out. It's going to blow you away though. It's very feature rich, you can do almost anything you can think of. Far better than most of the other store sites I see sellers mention here.

Please go back to the way it used to be. The old selector was so good. It was perfect to schedule the listings this way!
Please Please!

Thank you!

FANTASTIC!!! Thanks for this info, I was stressing about it!

(I still don't see why it was changed from the old way though??)
