Hello,

The site has not been down, as I have been listing without any problems for the last couple of days.

Have you cleared your cache, browser temporary files, etc.?

Are you able to sign in to Auctiva at all? Or are you having problems while creating a listing? If you have cleared your cache and deleted your temporary files, and are still having problems, I would suggest filing a support ticket with Auctiva.

I understand how frustrating not being able to get onto a site can be, especially one as wonderful and useful as Auctiva. Hang in there!

Hope this helps.
Thank you mzchristy,I am glad that the site is not down. I cant even get to the home page. It just goes to a blank page and after a long while says "INternet Explorer Cannot display the webpage"
I even deleted my cookies, files etc.
I cant fill out a ticket for help because I cant get into the site to ask for help..Frown
not sure what is wrong.
Fatcatj: Glad to hear you are able to get in to Auctiva now!

Savingstoyoujean: Have you cleared the cache, deleted cookies and temp internet files, etc.? What browser are you using? I have read many, many times that some have problem using Auctivia with Internet Explorer and have had to use Mozilla FireFox, but I only have IE and have never had any trouble at all.

If photos are the cause of a delay, I would suggest making them a smaller dimension before uploading them onto to Auctiva, if you can. One of the great features of Auctiva image hosting (which we get FREE!!) is the images are a standard size in the listing, with a link for a supersize image to be displayed in a separate window (also for FREE!!).

Hope this helps.

Is the site down? This is really frustrating!

It's a problem with AOL. I have AOL on my laptop that I can use for testing and I got on it and it was painful. That was over 2 weeks ago. We talked to some network people and they were aware of the problem and we were told it is because of some lack of bandwidth during peak periods between AOL and our carrier. So AOL is slow between every site that uses them. And it won't be fixed until either of the two add more bandwidth to their peering relationship.

We're brining another connection online in the next month or so. It was installed around 2 weeks ago and we're testing it out and waiting for some #'s back so that we can bring it online. Hopefully one of the things we can try then is directing AOL to come to us over that connection.

I dont know what happened.
It all just depends on how bust AOL is going across our providers network. It'll go in spurts. I have a feel that there are more than 1 place that comes across the bad connection than AOL since it's some sort of peering agreement between the various phone companies that own the fiber that all the data on the internet goes across. A few of those connections have been bottlenecked with too much traffic at times.

Also some of the AOL users using our site had better luck using Firefox or Internet Explorer and not the AOL web browser.
It's gotta be my qwest/msn connection somewhere in cyberspace. I have a lap top which is giving me the same info as my listing computer... which is not much. I also look at other websites using Auctive and they aren't scrolling at my interrupted times either. Also, each active listing is missing borders, and all activa logos, store band etc. Very weird, oh well, tomorrow's another day I guess.

This link works, though I don't know if it is missing borders, etc.

now my web address to auctiva doesn't even work! try my old one which works www.savingtoyou.biz. Help!

This link displays a "Internet Explorer cannot display the website" page. Maybe the URL is incorrect, as the domain is different than the first, savingstoyoujeans.com vs savingtoyou.biz?

Because of that, I couldn't tell what difference in the sites is happening.
