Dear saugonian,
As I mentioned to the original poster, I am aware of any technical difficulties on our side of things that would explain why you are receiving this error when attempting to use the Auctiva Uploader.
However, I have done some research with respect to this message and I believe you should be able to work around it by making the following adjustment within your Internet Explorer preferences:
1) Select “Internet Options” from the “Tools” (gear icon) menu
2) Click the “Security” tab
3) Click the “Trusted Sites” icon in the section labeled “Select a zone to view or change security settings”
4) Click the “Sites” button below
5) Enter “https://www.auctiva.com” in the “Add this website to the zone” field and click the “Add” button
6) Click the “Close” button
7) Click the “Custom Level” button in the “Security level for this zone” section
8) In the Active X section, ensure the following settings are set to “enabled”: Run ActiveX and plug-ins, Download Signed ActiveX Control and Script ActiveX controls marked as safe for scripting
9) Then, ensure the following settings are set to “prompt”: Download unsigned ActiveX Control and Initialize and script ActiveX controls not mark as safe
10) Click the “OK” button to close the first window
11) Click the “Apply” button then the “OK” button to close the second window
12) Close and reopen your Internet Explorer browser to ensure the new settings take effect
If you continue to encounter the same behavior after trying this measure, or if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team directly from the “Help” tab within your account and we will proceed from there.
