I'm a new to Auctiva so this is probable a basic question! When I add an image that is hosted on Auctiva I can align it left and right but not center. Why is that and can I center it without messing with the HTML?

Thanks for contributing to our forum. If you add images to the descriptions of your listings by placing them in the Auctiva Image Selection section below the description, they will be centered automatically and you will be able to change how they are aligned (if desired) using the options in the “Customize Layout” section during the template selection process.
On the other hand, if you use the “Insert an Auctiva Hosted Image” button on the description editor toolbar to insert an image directly into the editor, it does appear that the “Center” button is inactive once you have selected the image.
I am uncertain why this is the case, but I will bring this to the attention of our Product Management team to see if this is something we may be able to change with a future update to our site. For now, I can only recommend using HTML to center the images you add in this manner - which it appears you have already figured out how to accomplish.
I'm sorry that I cannot offer you a better solution at this time, but I appreciate you bringing this behavior to our attention.
