hi, can this be done with a listing that is still active and allowed to be revised on ebay?

when i hit the get html, it brings me back to the saved listing screen. i than went to the text editor and selected all and saved the html code and than went to the ebay revised description under html and pasted it. but it did not seem to work. thanks for your help,
john
SmileI haven't tried this on active listings. So, I can't say for sure if it works. The ones I have been revising are the imported listings from EBay when I first signed up. I will give it a try on active and see what happens. Anyway, the way I am doing it you do not need to copy and paste. You can just go ahead and edit. I am not sure I am explaining this very clearly and there is alot of info about editing with the HTML the way you tried on the board. So I don't know why they are not giving information regarding this process. Go to my Relisting Magic, Alert thread and read there, maybe it will be clearer.Others have seemed to have success. I think maybe it might be you are not clicking on the import box first. Let me know.

Yeah, that code will only be your description, though, and won't include the template HTML.

If you can't get the "Get HTML" window to come up it may be one of your pop-up blockers blocking it. Make sure they are set to allow auctiva.com.
