Do the eBay Store and the Auctiva store co-exist? If so does that mean only stuff I list on QAuctiva will show up in my Auctiva store and stuff I list on eBay will only show up in my eBay store?
The Auctiva store is basically just a collection of all your currently listed items in one convenient location for buyers. When you list to ebay from Auctiva, the stuff will show up in Auctiva & ebay/
Thanks for your help. I have been trying for hours to set up profiles and listings, and I can't seem to get them right so that I can see how the Auctiva Store looks on eBay. I hope I will get there soon . . . before total frustration overcomes me. Thanks again, Sandy
The Auctiva store is similar to an eBay store in that they both display all of your active listings(fixed price, auction, and store items) at any given time. However, the Auctiva store is reached by clicking the link on the bottom-right of your store window in your auctions, while your eBay store is reached by clicking the "Visit My Store" link on your auctions.
The key difference is that an eBay store is required to be able to post "store item" listings, which entail longer durations and a different fee structure than standard auction and fixed price listings.
If you have and additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask!
Thank you Mike, I had not noticed that Auctiva did not support store listings. I do have another question. I have set up profiles, but the wording is scrambled when I see it in a listing I am trying to create. Also, I specified insurance as optional, but the listing shows Insurance Required. Because of these problems I have not been able to post anything yet. Do you know why these things happen? Tahnks, Sandy
1) Auctiva actually does support store listings. To create a store listing through Auctiva, just check the bubble next to "store item" in the sale type section at the upper-left of the Auctiva lister page.
