Confused On HTML Window

This is my first time using Auctiva and I just tried my fist listing. In the box where you put the HTML, my images dont show up. But if I click on the "Preview" button, the images are there.

Is this the way its supposed to be with the images not showing in the HTML box, or should I be able to see them there to?

Hi - If your images have been added using the Image Selection part of the listing page they will not show up in the item description box, only the text. (However, if you added images manually to the description, then they would show up there).

If you wish to view the HTML for everything within the template area of the listing, including the photos and seller details, you can go the the Saved listings folder (under the Listings tab) and click the <HTML> icon to the right of your listing. A popup box will then appear showing the HTML.

Thank you ninth_wave for getting back to me. Now I know the images are not supposed to show up in the HTML window.

But I have 5 images and they are not showing up in the template where they are supposed to. Their lining up right under each other.

How do I correct this?

On the listing page, to the right of the template thumbnail photo, click Modify Template, then under Custom Layout you can change your photo layout in the drop-down menus, and preview the layout. When you are satisfied with a layout, click Save Template to Listing, and then click Preview at the bottom of the listing page to double-check the layout.

I realized that I had to put the "Auctiva URL" for the image into my ad for the images to show up in the right place.
