Custom Template - Width

Like Wahm said, the template should stretch properly. Do you have a particular example where this has happened to you (name of the auction you created?) or have you posted this item to eBay? could we have a link? We will be happy to assist further but need to see the example first.

I took a look at your listing and everything appeared fine, it stretched and shrank appropriately. Are you still seeing this problem? If so maybe you could explain the issue more.

OK - I am not losing it I just looked at the same listing again. At the top of the listing it is fine until you get down to the template area. At this point, you can't see the right side of the castle unless you use your scroll bar and move over to the right. This doesn't happen on any of the other templates that I use.

Alright, I opened that listing using "Internet Expolorer" and I now see the scrolling issue you speak of. I logged into your account and could not find that listing under your saved listings so I am unable to pinpoint exactly what is causing the problem. I believe the scrolling store window located inside the template that is causing the problem but I am not 100% convinced and I will be looking into this further.

I have many listings with the other templates that have the store window located in the same place and I don't have problems with them. If you give me a direct email address I can email you the HTML from my listing.

I'm pretty sure it the store window that is causing this, the reson why it is doing it in some of the listings and not others is because of the template.

The ones like the castle have a larger graphic used so that leaves less room for the window.

I would strongly suggest moving the store window outside of the template or switching to the one that doesn't scroll because it takes up a tad bit less room

I just wanted to point out that you now have two really cool features available to you since your store has been pulled outside of the template. 1st, you can go to the "store" tab then click "Edit Store Window" and on the page you are brought to you can choose to have Auctiva automatically place your store window at either the top or bottom of your listing, 2nd you can scroll down that page a bit and choose to have your store window match any template you choose to use. Then when you create a listing and choose a template a small box to the right of where you selected your template will appear ("Use template-matching Store Window") if you leave this box checked any template you use has a matching store window, this makes for a really cool and professional looking auction. Hope this tid bit of info has been useful.

Thanks for the tip! Question though - when I signed up with Auctiva, the store window was put into all my active listings. I have put up hundreds of books since then using the window in my listing (which I happen to like better). If I switch and turn the store window on again will it add the store windows again to all my listings that already have store windows in them? I have over 1400 listings, so this is not one I want to make a mistake on.

We check your listings before adding the store window. If they already have the store window, it will not be added again!
