customizing existing template

How can we use an existing template, for example, frank lloyd wright under,(The art category), and then customize the layout within that template. For example, I like the way the template looks but I would like to be able to arrange my images vertically down the right side while showing my information on the left side, next to the images. Is there a way to use the custom template designer within the existing templates. thank you

Under the Listings tab got to Custome Templates and then Manage.

Then click Create from Existing and you will get a drop down menu where you can select the Auctiva templates you want to modify
