I'm from Australia and our date system is dd/mm/yyyy this is an american site which has mm/dd/yyyy my store comes up with the american system is there any way to change this? If not can you ask someone to make it an option?
This is not currently an option through the Auctiva website. I have moved this post to the "Suggestions" section of our community forum so it will be read by our developers when they are considering new feature to incorporate into Auctiva.

Do you know, we in Britain use the same date system as you do in Australia: day month year? I support this suggestion.
Its not just Australia and the UK that use the dd/mm/yyyy format. That format is the normal international format, though some countries use "-" or "." as a separator. The "mm/dd/yyyy" construction is a piece of North American daftness. Its a complete pain in the rear and cost the world millions annualy in screwups and extra effort for software developers. The gringos need to get with the programme and align with the rest of the world.
Instead of asking politely "can you support my country's format please?", phrase your question something like "Do you have any plans to make your system usable outside north america?" </rant>
