Delay in ads appearing

Hi, I listed 22 ads approximatley 10 hours ago using auctiva, and as yet, none of them appear in the eBay search results. Can anyone tell me if this is common, or why this is happening?

What are you listing? High end, high counterfeit designer items can take up to 24 hours to post. But, in general, they say it can take 6-8 hours for items to be indexed.

Hi, I'm listing glass bead jewellery, PS2 games and Pilates DVD's. This delay has happened to me in the past when I have listed books, and items from around the house. All items display quickly in the gallery scroll, but take ages to appear in ebay search results. Thanks for replying, I appreciate it.
