Description not being pulled ino template

I am new to Auctive. I have a custom template and I am using the [DESCRIPTION_AND_IMAGES] tag. My image is being inserted fine but my description is not. When I preview the listing it shows the default text,
Your item description will be placed here. You may use HTML if you wish. The font type, style and color are pre-defined, but can be overwritten in the item description window. Item descriptions may be as long as you desire, as the templates will resize to match the length of your descriptions.

Any ideas? I'm guessing it is something simple ...
