Design Editor when using Mozilla Firefox

I have been having multiple issues with my custom templates lately, mostly concerning the Active X problem that prevents me from displaying my custom template. This issue only occurs in IE, but not in Mozilla Firefox. Now my other problem is that when I am in editor mode displaying html code, when I click on Design the screen just goes completely blank where the template would normally display. All other editing functions above display correctly, just the template itself won't display. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this issue. Also if anyone has any input concerning the ongoing IE problem with Active X please let me know. Thank you.

PS The display issue is only occuring in Mozilla Firefox and the Active X issue is only happening in IE. Thanks,

Well, the Active X issue has sort of been solved. When using Internet Explorer I had to disable Quicktime and make Windows Media Player my default player. This made the Active X issue disappear. Still interested to know why the html template code doesn't show up in design when using Mozilla Firefox though?????????????????

Hello Original,

Glad to hear you found at least a work around to the Active X issue. I would like to help you with your other problem but I would need to see the HTML to be of more assistance. If you would, go to PracticeBoard.com, Paste in your html there then click the "See HTML" button, once you have done that a link for that particular template will appear just above the diplay area. Copy that URL and paste it back into this post. We should be able to help from there.

Note: In case I wasn't real clear in my earlier message, the code disappears when you go to design mode when using Mozilla as a browser, but not when using IE as a browser. Thank you.

Hi Original,

You are correct this is my experience as well, I have reported it to the proper personnel and the fix will be on their list of items to address with this text/display editor. I did notice that saving the template from the HTML mode and then using it in a listing worked fine, in case you were wondering. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
