Devastating Multi-Variation issue, sales are cut down by 20-30%

eBay has changed how multi-variation images are shown to buyers. In the past, eBay showed the main images of a multi-variation listing both in search and after the buyer clicks on the listing.

Around late May/2020 eBay changed that, they now show the images of multi-var listings differently. After you click, eBay will automatically pick up a random variation and start showing its pictures, eBay is now skipping on showing the main/parent images of the listing all together.

This is truly devastating to the conversion rate. I recorded the eBay app and how it is now behaving. The issue is not always present in web-browsers, but is there in the app 24/7, so if you decide to verify this, please search for a multi-variation listing using the eBay app.

I reported this to eBay, but my report alone won't do anything. If eBay doesn't hear from multiple sellers about the issue, they will not fix it.
