Hello All,

About 2 hrs ago I sold an item. I recieved the Customary "your item sold notification"
Next Recieved was the " Paypal Payment Notification"
So everything is honky dory right...not!

Buyer sends me a note "paid for this item through Paypal and then received a notice saying it was not available. Will you please advise?"

I reassured her everything was fine with her purchase and that it would be shipped in the am with my other orders. I also requested her to please "forward" a copy of the e-mail she recieved to me.
Now this Item I relisted thru, Ebay not Auctiva.
Does Auctiva send winning bidders notifications, I have not set up any sort of emails for my buyers via Auctiva. At Least I dont think I have.
The only thing I could think of, is that I relisted it thru E-bay so perchance does Auctiva not recognise the item as being relisted, then sends an e-mail to the buyer saying product unavailable?
Also I just found out thru the forums, is it true that an Item relisted thru Auctiva does not recieve the insertion fee back if the product sells? Or is that an old post and things have changed?

Sorry for all the questions, but I have had lots of glitches lately. Mainly my own repairs for other sites, but this just kinda put the cherry on top for the week.

There is no chocolate to help around here either Frown when all else fails eat Chocolate
Thanks in advance, Confused

Um, be careful of that email just in case...lots of goofy things going on lately, scammers, identity theft, fake SCO's etc.

I've relisted many tims through ebay and not Auctiva and no one has ever gotten an email like that! Sounds fishy to me.

Is the message from ebay or from Auctiva?? If from ebay, forward it to spoof@ebay.com and they will let you know if they indeed sent it. If it's from Auctive, file a support request and forward it to them. Something just doesn't sound right here. Don't click on anything when you get it and tell your buyer the same.

Good Luck
SmileHi
I have asked for the email to be forwarded back to me, but as of 11:01 Arizona time, she hasnt done so.
I have checked my PayPal, and her transaction registers.
Alas No e-mail forwarded, no clue as to where it came from. I did mention that it was possibly an attempt to get into my account, and I would like that E-mail.
I rarely click e-mail links unless its from someone I know.
I will sleep on it and hope she sends,
Thanks Member8880 I was wondering if it could be spoof! you confirmed that it is possible!
I take that Luck and wish it Back:-)
Sleep Sweet Nanc
PS What happened to Your other cool name Picture!! I wanted to ask what it was, Looked like a Frost Queen but it was Very Neat!!!
Hey Nanc!
I just got tired of it...it's in Auctivas archives, I've seen other folks use it.

BTW, I tried my best to answer your new ? on the other board, I hope it's what you need.

And PS...NEVER NEVER NEVER click on any links in an unfamiliar email! (even a familiar one, if it doesn't seem to make sense) The fake paypal emails being circulated now look SO real it's amazing! (If only these people would put theit talents to GOOD use rather than bad!) I just recieved one telling me my acount was limited. Well I already knew that wasn't true. Sent it to spoof@paypal.com & sure enough, a fake.

Be careful Smile
