Different Shipping address on paypal and auctiva receipts

I ordered something from ebay. Paid by Auctiva. My email receipt from Auctiva had the right shipping address and the paypal email had my old address as shipping address. I already had my new address changed in ebay. Paypal had the new address entered but still had my old address listed there too. I have not received what I ordered 3 weeks later and fear that it was sent to my old address. What do I do? This is a major problem with my transaction.

Hi,

Your best bet is to message the seller and confirm they shipped to your old address. Under PayPal rules, they had to ship to the address on the PayPal transaction in order to qualify for the Seller Protection program. Many Sellers use PayPal's shipping label system, which creates the shipping label directly from the transaction info (automatically prints it with the postage, etc.).

Not much Auctiva can do for you in this situation.

I already had changed my home address on paypal a few minutes before I completed the transaction on auctiva. In addition, why does this Auctiva even ask for a shipping address if it cannot be used. There is no warning to buyer saying it won't be sent to this address. Not very helpful program.

This is the reason I had to switch back to the ebay checkout. The Auctiva checkout does not play nice with paypal and it was defaulting to old addresses with my buyers. I had at least 10 complaints over a 3 month period that I shipped to an old address. There is a place in the checkout that the buyers should double check the address but it does not always get checked and it leads to this specific problem.
