I hope someone can help me! I am new to Auctiva and did not realize I signed up for their insurance. So, I already paid insurance through USPS and am in effect now being double billed. I CANNOT, for the life of me, disable the insurance. The little box in the "Auctiva Shipping Insurance Settings" tab is grayed out and unable to be unchecked. I tried disabling Auctiva checkout, but I have no idea if this will also disable Auctiva insurance. HELLLLLP! Thank you!

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you are having. Based on the behavior you have described, it sounds like the Auctiva Shipping Insurance setting in your account has been automatically disabled because of your outstanding balance. Until your first payment has been made toward your Auctiva insurance account, our system will disable that setting when your outstanding balance exceeds $5.00.

Since you did not intend to purchase insurance for these items through Auctiva, I recommend contacting our customer support team and recommend that we cancel those policies for you. Once the policies have been canceled and the charges removed from your account, you would then be able to turn off the Auctiva insurance setting as normal.
