Hello Andy -
It sounds like you are referring to updating already active listings to use a template and seller details profile. We have a bulk tool available for active listings that are eligible for revision on eBay that should allow you to make the kind of change you describe, if you have saved listings in your Auctiva account that correspond to the live listings you wish to change.
On the Saved Listings that do not have your profile you will need to select a template to be able to add the seller details profile to it and then add your seller details profile and save. Then, on the active listings page select the active listings you wish to update and choose Bulk Revise. From the pulldown menu select Listing Template and select the template you wish to add to these listings. There is an option to Preview prior to applying your changes, which I recommend. If all looks well, you can then apply your changes.
For listings where you do not have a corresponding saved listing, you can still add a template to the active listing on eBay (as long as it does not already have a template on it) using the same tool, but this will not add the profile as that must be included in a saved listing.
If you wish, you can make saved listings for other active listings (there is no way to import a currently active listing to Saved) and apply your template and profile to them and use the HTML of that to update eBay. (steps below). Alternately, when the listings end you can import them from the Closed Listings page to your Saved Listings to make edits and then repost them.
To update an active eBay listing that is eligible for revision with the HTML of a Saved Listing in Auctiva:
- Click the Get HTML button to the right of the item on your Saved Listings page with the icon: </>
- use the Select All button and then copy the HTML in the popup window that shows
- Locate the item on eBay and open the "Revise Your Item" form.
- Scroll down to the "Description" section and then make sure that it is on the HTML tab.
- Delete the existing description HTML, paste the copied HTML in its place, preview your changes and continue and confirm your changes.
If you run into any difficulty or have further questions about this, please feel free to file a support case from under the Help tab of the site and our support team will be happy to assist you further.
