Hi,

I tried to check the online help about this but am getting an error message so I thought I'd turn to the community.

Can the Auctiva store and scrolling window be populated by any other means than by posting the listing via Auctiva? I remember seeing something about importing existing auctions when I first signed up but since I had no prior auctions, I ignored it. Is it for first time use only or for ongoing use?

In particular, if I post an auction using ebay's listing designer, will there be any way to have that listing show up in the Auctiva store and scrolling window?

Also, what about re-lists done through ebay: will a relisted auction show up in the Auctiva store and scrolling window?

And finally, what about items which are not on ebay at all: could we still have them in our Auctiva store and scrolling window?

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this.

Max

Yes to both your questions Smile The only difference is that the scrolling window will be added to the bottom of your auctions instead of the top (since we have to revise your already active listings on eBay) and you will have to give our service a few hours before it will come around and pick up your listings. Listings posted through Auctiva will be added immediately.
I agree but I think we're pushing on a rope. My guess is that the 3rd party developers like yourself care a whole lot more about eBay than eBay cares about its 3rd party developers.

I went through this with IBM in the 70's and Microsoft in the 90's. Eventually the mighty get humbled but in the meantime we have kowtow.

So when you can spare the developer time, please add this new value option to the listing form.

Thanks ... Max
if you turn off store window, it will no longer be automatically added to your listings.

if you have it in existing listings when you turn off the store window, it will continue to be displayed in those listings. Also, it will continue to pick up any new listings and automatically add those to the group of pictures in the window.

turning "off" store window only stops it from being auto-inserted. If you manually insert it in listings it will still work. (just like it continues to work in listings that it's already displayed in when you turn it off)

still working on caffeine, so i hope that made sense
