A few times that I've created a "Similar Listing" on Auctiva and click on the estimate eBay fees, it's saying it's .60 cents. Why is this happening?

Also, when relisting an item, is it best to do it on eBay or Auctiva (cost-wise)?

One last question while I'm here; when viewing a supersized photo, why doesn't the "Next" button always scroll through ALL the pictures? Sometimes I noticed it's only going between a couple of photos when I have multiples listed. It does work okay when clicking on each numbered photo.

Thanks in Advance! Smile

It's hard to say why your fees are 60 cents without knowing what your starting price is, or what upgrades you have. But creating a similar listing doesn't cost anything extra. It's just a great feature to use if you are listing similar items. I use it a lot for my cake pan sets which are all identical, even in price, but just have different pictures and sizes. I use this features so that I only have to change the pictures and the sizes, everything else is the same.

As far as relisting, if you want to schedule the item, you should relist through Auctiva and save yourself the scheduling fee. If you just want to list immediately, it doesn't matter how you do it.

I hope that answers your questions!

However, eBay sees an Auctiva "relist" as a new listing. So if you're relisting because an item didn't sell the first time then you won't get your listing fees back.

And I believe I read elsewhere on the boards that there was a bug with the "Next" button for the photos. Although I was also thinking I'd read that it was fixed -- maybe it's just in the process.
Cakethings,

My starting price is $16.95 but the insertion fee of .60 cents was applied even before I entered a price. After reading your post I looked back at the listing to see what upgrades I have...only gallery...but that fee is listed separately. I do however, have it listed as a "Buy it Now" with an option to "Submit Best Price". Could that be it?

60 cents is the correct insertion fee for $16.95.

Either way, if the fee was there before you entered your price, then it could just be "leftover" from your original listing. You could just need to refresh the page, or re-calculate the fees.
