I've just signed up and I'm trying to adjust my account settings to my liking. However, I can't get all of the changes to save when I hit the update button at the end of that section.

I started trying to make one change at a time. My first try worked but the second thing I wanted to change wouldn't save. Several tries for some of the others also resulted in no saved changes.

I'm using Opera 9.27.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

It could be either browser settings or lack of functionality. There have been many posts and problems with use of one browser vs. another. If you search the Forum for Opera, you'll find threads on some reported problems.

Generally, Internet Explorer and Firefox seem to have the least problems and best results, as you observed with switching to Firefox. It's more a question of whether the specific browser has the functions and features to work correctly with Auctiva, than the other way around.

While you may be able to do some or all of what you are looking to accomplish through the Auctiva website while using Opera, we do not officially support that browser. The only browser we officially support for Mac OS is Mozilla Firefox so, if you are using Mac OS, I recommend using the Firefox browser with Auctiva for the best performance.
