Does updating Your Seller Detail Profile Also Update Current Listings?

As it says above.

I am changing my Payment terms to PayPal Only and eliminating Cheques and Postal Orders and making some other much needed amendments.

If I change the profile does it update current listings automatically? If not, can it be done? Or do I have to amend each listing manually via Ebay?

Hi Craig,

Active listings won't be affected, only newly created listings using your changed seller details will reflect the changes. As far as I know, the only way you can adjust currently running ads is by going into eBay and doing so with a "revise your item" process.

Wanda is right, your current listings will not reflect any changes you make. The only time you cannot revise thru Ebay is if you have a bid or less than 12 hours left in the listing.

Hi Craig,
Just changing your profiles will not make changes to your saved listings either. You need to open all your saves listings (you can do this 100 at a time) don't bulk edit, you need to click Find and Replace and then click the field that you want to change, make the change and then confirm and save.
