Hello. My store has a domain name. When I type this name into google the search results show zero. Is the domain really a web page?Derek.

One thing you need to be aware of is how often search engines index and HOW you can get search engines to index you higher and more often.
If you just bought the domain name, it's gonna take awhile. I don't know zactly how long.
Take the time to submit them yourself to Google, Yahoo and MSN. The rest of the web browsers rely on those three for their info.
Don't pay any company to submit these for you...you can do it yourself. I use Google as my main search engine...type in submit url to search engines and it will give you the link.

Meta Tags and Meta Description are vital and will move you up faster.
The more the url is placed around the internet, the better.
You're going to have to market yourself. Put your domain in your signature here and the search engine robots will catch it when they crawl this site. If you belong to other sites for networking with other sellers, put your domain url in your sig..more opportunities for the search engines to pick you up.

Hi Donna,
Am I right in thinking that you have linked to Google Webmaster Tools, if so how do I add the meta file to my store home page header, or upload their file to my sites root folder. Any help would be great. I know a little about http etc, but keep it simple for me.
